Caesars Entertainment has reported two COVID-19 cases at their Flamingo hotel casino. Caesars Entertainment was among gaming companies that reopened casinos in Las Vegas. Also, some of the casinos were opened on June 4. Gov Sisolak announced Phase 2 of reopening after COCID-19 trends had stabilised.

New COVID-19 cases are now emerging from the Las Vegas Strip two weeks after reopening.

Caesars Entertainment spokesperson confirmed the two cases at Flamingo casino. Also, he said  the company  is doing contact tracing as a precautionary safety measure. However, he did not confirm whether the two cases were staff members or casino guests. Health officials say symptoms of corona virus do not show up until 6 days after one has been exposed. Also, some symptoms can remain dormant for about 14 days after the first exposure.

On Wednesday another case of COVID-19 was confirmed in the Las Vegas strip. This was after a kitchen worker from Bellagio’s Mayfair Supper club tested positive for COVID-19. It had to shut down temporarily after the worker tested positive.

Flamingo Hotel Hosted A Pool Party Amid Opening

Flamingo hotel hosted a pool party to in order to welcome guest. Casino executives were on the deck, welcoming guests. Other casinos also opened their properties during that same period.  During this period, so many people were not adhering to one of the COVID-19 preventative measure which is wearing a mask while in public places.  The Nevada Gaming Control board then updated its health and safety measures in an effort to get people to treat wearing masks seriously.

COVID-19 Statistics in Nevada

On Friday, Nevada had the largest increase in cases since the pandemic started. The cases were 410 on that single day, it surpassed Monday’s 379. Navada now has 12, 486 confirmed cases. 9, 852 of the confirmed cases in Nevada are from the Clark County.  The state’s total COVID-19 deaths stand at 478. There have been no new deaths resulting from the virus.  The reopening of the casinos is likely to be contributing to the spike in new cases.

Caesars Entertainment Reopened Paris Las Vegas

Caesars Entertainment also reopened its Paris Las Vegas property. Also, Caesars Entertainment has renovated the property and there is a lot to look forward to for guests.  The property was reopened on June 18. The management said they were going to comply with reopening directives.

There is need for people to follow the COVID-19 health safety regulations. Also, this will help reduce the risk of getting as well as spreading the virus.
