The western state has a collection of 441 commercial casinos that they wish to reopen. During the end of March and beginning of April 2020, casinos in the US and in some other countries as well where asked to close down. This was due to the outbreak of the deadly virus that has so far claimed thousands of lives across the globe. Since then many people have been relying on online casinos to enjoy their favourite online casino games or real money.

Recently some casinos including the Las Vegas Sands have announced their plans to re-open casinos. Some started making plans to re-open in May whilst others are making plans for June and a few months to follow.
